Back for a second year is DECA University! This specialized training program is designed exclusively for chapter officers and advisors. Held each September in two locations – one in So Cal and one in Nor Cal – the event combines officer training with the excitement of California’s professional sports team. Each event included specialized officer training, followed by attendance to an LA Galaxy soccer match (So Cal) or a San Francisco Giants baseball game (Nor Cal).
DECA University’s training topics include:
- How to be an effective chapter leader
- Planning for a successful year
- Managing your chapter
- Recruiting new members
- Engaging members
- How to Aspire Higher in 2011-12!
Registration is $20 per participant and is limited to a maximum of ten (10) students per chapter. Registration is on a first come/first served basis. We have a limited number of seats for the game. Once we reach capacity registration will be closed.
The registration fee includes training, training materials, and entrance to the sporting event. Transportation and meals are not provided.
