Silicon Valley DECA Fashion Show Success

CA DECA Members Flaunt the Year’s Latest Fashion Trends at the Silicon Valley’s 5th Annual Fashion Show
This year Silicon Valley hosted its 5th annual fashion show, themed “Back to the USA.” The fashion show was held on Friday April 15th, 2011 at the Historic Del Monte building in Sunnyvale. It included all the things we love about being American –the newest, most unforgettable fashion trends, amazing food, humor, and lots of fun.

The Silicon Valley DECA President, Robert Kang, launched the night with a bang as he introduced the MCee’s for the night, Michelle Chan and Ansh Shukla, both remarkable speakers and officers of Monta Vista DECA. Guests enjoyed nice background music as Silicon Valley DECA members rocked the stage showing off the year’s latest hit trends. Guests enjoyed numerous performances ranging from Mongolian dance to Indian Bhangra to American vocal singing. Each of these performances reflected the astounding diversity in culture that comprises the Silicon Valley.
As the last of the performances came to a close, SV DECA began their awards session. They awarded Congressman Honda and Ms. Alice Jacobs, both established business leaders in Silicon Valley who have honored DECA with their continuous support. The night was filled with tearful hugs as Silicon Valley DECA also said good bye to its incredible seniors and welcomed the youngest, emerging business leaders—the incoming freshmen.
Finally, SV DECA ended the night with a bang as DECA members partied to modern music till late in the night.
