Mission San Jose Students Win the Idea Challenge 2012

Author:

Creativity, passion and fantastic use of plastic bags brought home the championship for Mission San Jose’s Team EcoWear students competing in Global Entrepreneurship Week’s Idea Challenge 2012. With a plastic bag, competitors were asked to come up with a marketable idea and create as much value as possible for the plastic bags in 8 days. Competitors submitted their ideas through a 3 minute or less YouTube video, and our very own Mission San Jose students were triumphant!
With over 400 students teams from the US and Canada, the eight day Idea Challenge was held November 7-16, 2012. In addition to receiving recognition on both the DECA Inc. and GEW websites, at least two members of EcoWear will be flown to ICDC, recognized during opening general session at ICDC, invited to participate in various career academies during ICDC and give complimentary tickets for one day at Disneyland Resort.
Check out Team EcoWear’s winning submission. Congratulations, Team EcoWear!
