Today, California DECA hit the highest membership count in 62 years: 4,500 members.
Reaching this important milestone will now give California DECA a fourth slot for Written Events during the 2014 ICDC. Kay Ferrier, California Department of Education, registered as a Professional Member and became lucky member 4,500, helping secure the membership goal for California. The State Officers and State Management Team would like to thank everyone who joined in on the membership recruitment efforts and send congratulations on reaching such a successful goal!
The celebration of 4,500 members will take place this week during the 2013 State Career Development Conference in Santa Clara, California. It’s safe to say that California DECA is THRIVING!
