Meeting with Senator Richard Roth

Recently, Apoorva Panse and Margarita Oreta had the opportunity to meet and speak with Senator Richard Roth of District 41, along with two members from Martin Luther King DECA, Shivali Gowda and Caleb Bhatnagar. The state officers had the chance to speak with Senator Roth’s staff member in Sacramento in May, and had the opportunity to follow-up with Senator Roth himself. This opportunity allowed them to advocate for DECA and Career and Technical Education. The officers and DECA memebers look forward to extending invitations to Martin Luther King DECA’s mini conference and the Southern California Career Development Conference to Senator Roth and his staff soon! California DECA sincerely thanks Senator Roth for his support for Career Technical Education and the opportunity to speak with him.
