Pleasanton, CA—On Monday, November 17th, Foothill DECA had the privilege of hosting Neima Khaila, CEO and co-founder of the popular clothing brand, Pink Dolphin Clothing. Pink Dolphin is an urban streetwear brand founded in 2008 that aims to introduce a new color into urban wear: pink.
Neima is a Foothill High alumnus who was previously a member of DECA. He visited during Foothill DECA’s continuation of Global Entrepreneurship Week—the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators that launch startups to bring ideas to life, drive economic growth, and expand human welfare—to speak about his journey towards entrepreneurial success, as well as his inspiration for the clothing line. He also spoke about the necessary characteristics of an entrepreneur, which include grittiness and the willingness to learn from mistakes. Foothill High students asked questions about the growth of Pink Dolphin and what it took for Neima to turn his concept into an international brand.
