Costa Mesa, California—January 5, 2015—Nine teams from three California DECA chapters placed Top 25 in the Western Region as a part of the 2014-2015 Stock Market Game (SMG). The winning teams below each earned an allocation to compete at the 2015 International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida between April 24 and April 29.
THE HARKER SCHOOL (advisor Juston E. Glass): 3 Teams
GRANADA HILLS CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL (advisor Andrew Nelson): 5 Teams
FREEDOM HIGH SCHOOL (advisor Noureddine Lalami): 1 Team
In addition, congratulations to one of the three teams from Harker for placing in 1st place in the entire Western Region! Winners will be notified by their advisor with follow-up instructions. We wish all of you the best of luck representing California at ICDC.
This year was a phenomenal success for California DECA, increasing the amount of teams in Top 25 of the Western Region from 5 teams last year to 9 teams. Once again, congratulations to all of our members that participated in the Stock Market Game this year, and we hope to see even greater success next year!
