Leadership Development Conferences

The Leadership Development Conferences at UC-Irvine and UC-Berkeley will be powerful one day conferences that include exciting DECA updates/information, competitive events training and participation in a fun and interactive ropes course. Come prepared to learn exciting new things, prepare for the DECA year ahead, get an early start on preparing for DECA Competitive Events and participate in hands on leadership and team-building activities with professional facilitators from the University of California Campus Recreation Program.

Leadership and Competitive Excellence Conference
Doubletree by Hilton, San Jose- November 11-13, 2016

Join us in Silicon Valley for a weekend devoted to competitive excellence and the professional development of both members and advisors. Workshops will focus on a variety of topics, and will be presented by industry experts from throughout Silicon Valley. Come prepared to strengthen your competitive event skills by attending competitive event workshops- all members attending will also take the DECA Knowledge Test! We’ll close the weekend with a community breakfast and recognition event.
 
By opening the Fall Conference to all registered California DECA chapters, we hope to increase participation and continue to grow these exciting and beneficial events. Join us for one, two, or all three of the fall conferences!
