With regionals right around the corner, the state officer team worked to put the final touches on the conferences in January. The DECA season is just about to begin, and now it is time for the countless hours of training and hard work to pay off at District CDCs. Your state officers are extremely excited to see the results of all the planning and meet all of the members.

Amador Valley DECA Prepares for NorCal CDC

Amador Valley DECA hosted a variety of events to help prepare its members for the Northern California Career Development Conference. In addition to attending MiniCons, the chapter organized weekly competition workshops at the Pleasanton Public Library for members to practice their presentations and hear from experienced competitors.

Even during Winter Break, chapter members continued preparing for their events. AV DECA partnered with a startup, Market Games, to host an entrepreneurship simulator for students competing in entrepreneurship events. Members also had the opportunity to schedule lunch meetings with any of the chapter officers for personalized advice on their presentations.
With countless hours spent preparing and studying, AV DECA hopes to have a good competitive performance at #NorCalCDC!
