This year, the state officers are using this new blog to spread the word about everything that is going on in California DECA. While
this blog will have announcements and news, the officers also want this blog to be about the great work being done by members and chapters across the state. The officers want to hear about what chapters are doing, like fundraisers, talent shows, civic consciousness projects, chapter visits, etc. If a chapter has a successful event, project, or positive experience, please send it to the state officers for posting to the online newsletter, Future Horizons.
Here are some guidelines for submissions:
- Write in third-person.
- The length of the article should be
approximately 250 – 350 words. - Please include a title for each article
- Please include a picture or two to go along
with the article. - Submissions should be sent to Siyang Qiu at publicrelationsvp@californiadeca.org
