TURNING PLASTIC BAGS INTO PROFIT
How DECA Members Make It Count

Anaheim, CA – April 2013 – What do plastic bags, a photo shoot, and a group of DECA members have in common? How about being the elements of team EcoWear’s winning entry for DECA’s Inaugural Idea Challenge!
DECA’s Idea Challenge 2012 required participants “re-invented the ordinary plastic bag into a high-value product and presented their idea via three-minute promotional videos.” This event was a great showcase of the ingenuity, resourcefulness, and initiative that DECA members possess, which will ultimately allow them to thrive in the career path they choose.
Check out what team EcoWear designed in order to stand out over 1,500 competitors! http://www.decadirect.org/April-2013/Idea-Challenge-Q-A/
