Virtual Business Challenge Round 1 Results

The results from Round 1 of the Virtual Business Challenge (VBC) have been released! Between October 20th and November 14th, teams from all over California competed to qualify for ICDC by placing top 2 in the Western Region in the five different VBC Categories: Sports, Restaurant, Personal Finance, Retail, and the Hotel Challenge.
Below are the competitors recognized by DECA, Inc. as the highest ranking VBC teams in California. The teams in bold also placed top 2 in the region and qualified to compete at ICDC.
VBC Top Competitors:

Mission San Jose High School – Anup Krishnamraju (Restaurant)
South Pasadena High School – Alexander Wong (Personal Finance)
Dougherty Valley High School – Mimi Evans (Hotel Challenge)
Granada Hills Charter High School – Kerthinivash Korisal (Retail)
Congratulations to all of our top competitors! For those of you who did not qualify, there is still an opportunity to do so. Round 2 of VBC begins on January 12th, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Good luck competitors!
