The California Department of Education as the charter holder for California DECA requires an open and competitive bidding process periodically for the management of the California Association of DECA, Inc.  The Board of Directors has established a policy that this process shall happen at a minimum of every four years.  We encourage all interested individuals or companies to consider this opportunity to manage one of the fastest growing and most dynamic chartered associations in the international DECA organization.
This contract management opportunity is handled by competitive bid. The deadline for electronic applications is June 21, 2013.

DECA’s mission is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. California DECA is a student leadership organization that primarily provides services, programs, and events for student members and teacher/advisors.  There are 59 local chapters with 4,500 members statewide. California DECA is an incorporated nonprofit organization and part of the international DECA program.  The charter to operate DECA in California is sponsored by the California Department of Education and is one of six Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) endorsed as a vital co-curricular student leadership and career development organization in California’s schools.
