Chapter Visits

Author:

What is a Chapter Visit?  I was asked this question by some members at the Nor Cal CDC and realized that this is a very common question among many members. California DECA has a total of six state officers; one president and 5 vice presidents, all of which can go visit your chapter. A chapter visit is exactly what it sounds like; a state officer goes and visits YOUR chapter.
Each visit is different; sometimes chapters wants an officer to visit to help explain what DECA is to new members, other times it’s just to see how the chapter is doing. Regardless of what the purpose may be, an officer is available to visit your chapter.
This year your officers have reached out to various chapters, so far State Officers have visited Amador Valley, Foothill, Arroyo, Carlmont, Mission San Jose, Castro Valley, Monta Vista and Martin Luther King DECA. With the State CDC approaching this is the perfect time to schedule a chapter visit to get prepared to compete and win big at State.  If you want an officer to visit your chapter don’t hesitate to contact one of the State Officers, it’s still not too late to schedule a chapter visit.
