This past weekend, members of the Silicon Valley District Action Team (DAT),accompanied by Belinda Zeng, State President, Carl Schmidt, Silicon Valley District Director and DECA national staff member Dr. Michelle Walker attended the California Teachers Association conference, held in Los Angele. During the conference, DECA officers advocated for the importance of CTE as well as networked with potential DECA advisors. The DECA officers in attendance agreed it was a wonderful opportunity to reach out to an audience of potential DECA advisors that had rarely been contacted, hoping to recruit some fresh faces to DECA.
