Hey California DECA! We are excited to announce our very first Member of the Month from October: Gary He from Westview High School. Gary is in charge of chapter communications. Gary is hard-working, dependable, outgoing, and considerate of others. He plans ahead of every meeting and is very well at summarizing the meeting minutes for students who may have missed the meeting for various reasons. He is always looking for a way to help others and takes initiative to help his chapter members feel welcome and included in meetings. As his advisor, Mrs.Chappell-Brown describes, “He is a natural leader, he takes charge of Club Communications, he is dependable and shows up to every meeting, and he is helpful to me as the club advisor so I don’t have to worry about sending out emails to the membership.”
