On behalf of Team 63, congratulations to all newly elected chapter officers! Your state officers are eager to Make it Count for California DECA with all of you this year. Here are three quick tips that will help make your upcoming term memorable and successful!
Communicate thoroughly. Make sure your team communicates consistently so that all team members are aware of upcoming events and their responsibilities. Weekly or bi-weekly chapter officer meetings as well as a chapter officer Facebook group can be used to maintain communication throughout the year.
Invest in your team. Make sure you take time to get to know your fellow chapter officers. It will pay dividends!
Think outside the box. Challenge your team to do something original as a chapter this year! Do not be satisfied with the status quo.
