California DECA extends congratulations to the team of Karan Gugle, Anirudh Kunaparaju, and Carmelia Muljadi from Monta Vista DECA for placing top 3 in the 2011-2012 DeVry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge! As one of the top winners the team won a laptop computer and headed to Chicago, Illinois in November for the final part of the competition.
The DeVry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge is a group event in which participants create a 5-10 minute long video presenting innovative and financially viable business concepts to enhance the lives of North American consumers in technology, environmental sustainability, personal health, or tourism. The video is then posted on YouTube to be evaluated by faculty, administrators and executives from DeVry University. The top three finalists attended DECA’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference in Chicago, IL, where they gave a 15-30 minute presentation on their business concepts in person.
California DECA congratulates Gugle, Kunaparaju, and Muljadi of Monta Vista DECA for their outstanding work in the DeVry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge!
