New Beginnings for Team 63: State Officer Orientation Meeting

Author:

Your 2013-2014 State Officers are already hard at work! We convened in Irvine California from March 22-24 for our orientation meeting. This was the first opportunity we had to get to know one another and I am privileged to serve with these outstanding leaders.
At this meeting, Team 63 worked on a variety of projects ranging from ICDC preparations to team building activities. California DECA’s reimagined Twitter tweets and Facebook posts were also planned at this meeting. We are elated to see the positive responses these tweets and posts have received so far.
Team 63 also took a trip to Downtown Disney, where we shot video footage for ICDC promotional media and helped Vice President of Southern California, Margarita Oreta, prepare her application to be a social media correspondence for Live@Thrive, the social media team covering all happenings at the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC)!
On the topic of ICDC, get ready for a Google Hangout with your state officers on April 15! Tune in and learn what to expect at ICDC this year. In addition to the Google Hangout, more information about ICDC will be made available in the California DECA Online Newsletter Blog: Future Horizons.
See you soon California DECA!
