Less than two weeks ago, Foothill DECA Advisor Tami Raaker received the prestigious Tri-Valley ROP 2012 Teacher of Year. Mrs. Raaker is a celebrated DECA Advisor, for her passion and dedication to the organization.
Mrs. Raaker currently serves as the Secretary for the California DECA Board of Directors. With the help of Mrs. Raaker, Foothill DECA has grown into a prominent DECA chapter in both the state and internationally. The secret to Foothill DECA’s success is partly due to the updated material Mrs. Raaker uses to teach them. Because of the fast paced business world, Mrs. Raaker constantly changes her teaching material in order to stay relevant to her students. Mrs. Raaker is a firm believer that students don’t know how much they care until they know how much you care. DECA allows Mrs. Raaker to give students the opportunity to reach their full potential.
